From a humble beginning of making soap and flowers into lovely presentation bouquets, Puan Hajjah Norehan Kassim has enhanced her range of exquisite creations into crystal, ribbon and porcelain flowers. Norehan has passion for roses; their beauty, delicacy colour and infinite variety and this is reflected in her creative work. As with most dedicated and successful artists Puan Hajjah Norehan not only has an abundance of creative talent but unrivalled technological expertise. Her work has all the hallmarks of creative discipline and consummate skill. She manages to capture not only the colour and form of the flowers she assiduously studies but uniquely the texture and fine detail. Norehan's three dimensional compositions are derived from close observation and faultless attention to natural nuances. Unusually for those working in this medium she is able to combine innovative ability with supreme technical competence,

Puan Hajjah Norehan believes in life-long learning and uses many different sources for her projects especially the internet and literature. She constantly reminds those around her of the need to keep learning and experimenting and not to be apprehensive or lose motivation even when a technique doesn't work well. She is a member of Porcelain Painters International Organization (PPIO) and she is listed in the China Painter List of Australia. She is also a certified teacher of International Porcelain Artists and Teachers, Inc (IPAT).

Unlike many artists Norehan is determined to make her interests and skills more accessible. To this end Puan Hajjah Norehan has established the Kelopak Gallery in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Already many have visited the Gallery and enjoyed seeing the work of this artist. In the last two years she made her debut on the international scene participating in the South Africa International Exhibition (SAITEX) in Johanesburg, The International Homes and House-ware Exhibition (IHHE) in Chicago, The Fukuoka International Gifts Show (FIGS) in Fukuoka, Asean-Japan Centre (AJC) in Tokyo and Ambiente in Frankfurt. Her art pieces are also exhibited in the Malaysia Exhibition Centre in Dubai.

Puan Hajjah Norehan enjoys sharing her expertise and experience with others. She regularly teaches art and craft classes at the Gallery encouraging creativity, originality and interpretation. Recently she opened new classes catering for school leavers, housewives and soon to be retired employees. These classes have the aim of developing participants' creative capabilities as well as nuturing their interest and talents into profitable enterprises. Her classes have awakened in many an interest that will enhance the quality of life and enable participants to share in the sheer enjoyment of creativity and achievement.
